The Last Post Fund’s mission is to ensure that no Veteran is denied a dignified funeral and burial, as well as a military gravestone, due to insufficient funds at the time of death.
Its primary mandate is to deliver the Veterans Affairs Canada Funeral and Burial Program which provides funeral, burial and grave marking benefits for eligible Canadian and Allied Veterans.

The Last Post Fund is profoundly saddened by the news of the discovery of the unmarked graves of 215 Indigenous children at the former Indian Residential School near the city of Kamloops, British Columbia. We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the grieving members of the Tk’emlups te Secwépemc First Nation, and to all survivors of residential schools.
