Request an Application from the Last Post Fund

To qualify for assistance under the Veterans Affairs Canada Funeral and Burial Program, both service and financial eligibility criteria must be met. The Last Post Fund must speak to a veteran’s next of kin, executor or other responsible person to establish eligibility before approving assistance.

When contacted, the Last Post Fund will conduct a short interview to determine if we may assist. Therefore, it is helpful if an applicant has access to service information as well as financial information for the veteran.
